Resumen
Education, due to its interdisciplinary nature, attracts professionals from different areas to doctoral programs, seeking to strengthen their pedagogical knowledge and develop skills for academic research. The present exploratory study, represents a first approach to certain traits of the user 2.0 in students of the Doctorate in Educational Research of the Center for Educational Research of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala; from the approach of Villaseñor Rodríguez and Calva González (2017, 101–103).Through a questionnaire, it was identified that doctoral students have a diverse teaching experience, which together covers all areas of knowledge. Also, that their average age is 39.5 years, which implies that they are not digital natives, but they show a good adaptation to technological evolution; which has allowed them to master tools for the creation and dissemination of content on Web 2.0.However, more than half of the subjects are not familiar with novel platforms such as video games, and their narrative, aesthetic and pedagogical properties. On the other hand, these doctoral students possess an outstanding ability to evaluate the quality of information and discern external ideological influences, as a result of their critical analysis and constant interaction with various sources of information.
