520.3.#.a: Through field work, review of specimens in scientific collections and a citizen science campaign, we present new records of amphibians and reptiles from the municipality of Zapotitlán de Méndez, Puebla. Likewise, we provide information on the expansion of the distribution area for some registered species. The herpetofauna of the municipality includes 43 species in the entire municipality, distributed in 11 species of amphibians (9 Anura, 2 Caudata) and 32 species of reptiles (31 Squamata, 1 Testudines). The largest number of species reported was in the municipal seat that receives the same name as the municipality, followed by the town of Tuxtla, and finally by the town of Nanacatlán.
