Resumen
The purpose of this article is to disclose trafficking in persons Mexico’s public policy challenges, specifically in itsprevention axis, during 2018-2023, based on the analysis of time series of several reports and official statistics onthe subject and highlighting the lack of a National Program to Prevent, Punish and Eradicate Crimes of Trafficking inPersons and for the Protection and Assistance to Victims of this crime until 2022. This is done through a bibliographictype documentary research, in which sources and materials on the subject of research are reviewed in general and in particular in order to perform an analysis in the Mexican context, which makes us reflect on whether there really is a public policy or whether it is really a government policy.
