Resumen
The tourist activity is experiencing a series of transformations with the arrival of digital platforms such as Airbnb, which created an increase in the pricing rental of housing used for tourist. The object of this study is to learn the different topics that have been addressed about the collaborative economic impact in the hospitality sector. The methodology used was the systematic literature review, considering the most recent studies within the last five years. The results allowed us to collect fifty-five research papers and catego-rized them into five sections: 1) collaborative tourism studies; 2) hotel business behavior; 3) consumer behavior; 4) the influence of ICTs in the consumption of accommodation services; 5) tourist typology. We concluded that most of the existing research is focused on analyzing housing services linked to the collaborative economy, which implies the need to do further research on the subject.
