Resumen
The article employs a methodology developed by Alda Facio, a Costa Rican feminist lawyer, to analyze the gender aspect of Mexican immigration laws that govern assisted return. The analysis aims to determine whether androcentrism exists in these regulations and how they impact women. The article argues that, despite the increasing number of women in current migration flows, assisted return does not necessarily benefit many women. The feminist viewpoint of law and its apprehension towards androcentrism can be identified and validated using the methodology developed by Alda Facio.
