520.3.#.a: This article, developed from literature narrative review, aimed at improving the teaching-learning process of provisional chemical test for cocaine guiding teachers approach and qualifying students training at all levels, mainly in professional technical training courses of police academies, it is establishing screening of sustainable methods in justice scope and also sphere environmental of mentioned exam, it follows with criteria has established: sensitivity, selectivity, execution time, photographic record and reduction of environmental impact . Based on theoretical analysis, the most sustainable were: Scott test and thin layer chromatography (TLC) —mainly for selectivity— with TLC as a more genuine result, although varies according to solvent system used; and immunochromatographic method, which stands out especially for contributing to reducing the environmental impact, however, as only one article was found testing the effectiveness this method for purpose, there is still doubt about selectivity efficiency.
