Resistance of Central American women during the migratory transit through Mexico. Reflexive analysis from the category of care

Resumen
This article reflects on the main findings from the research carried to obtain a Master’s thesis in Social Sciences (flacso-Mexico). The migratory transit of women through Mexico is studied based on 12 semi-structured interviews with Central American women applied during August and September of 2021 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, and the theoretical analysis coming from the categories of resistance and care. The text compiles the study of women’s resistance to the systematic violence they face during migration using the analytical key of care, and placing the experiences and testimonies of the protagonists of this phenomenon at the center of the academic inquiry.
