Resumen
Extended mind sets cognition as shared between biological and non-biological components. Conectivism is a theory that states learning as the ability to build and navigate networks. Objective: describe how extended cognition occurs on the Internet and in a system based on Connectivism. Method: n = 336. Questionnaires about the use of Internet were applied, a learning system was built and a course was offered to learn about particpant´s learning activities. Data was analizad with artificial intelligence algorithms. Results: With J48, 35 patterns (ROC = 0.96), were found to classify the participants. With the application of K-means algorithm clusters show diferences between the subjects and their perception about the extension of mind in networks. Patterns of use of the environment were found. Conclusion: Patterns show how people extend their cognitive processes to learn online. Artificial intelligence allowed to discover knowledge from the data.
