Resumen
This article addresses the influence that Porfirian generals Sóstenes Rocha and Bernardo Reyes had on the educational, legal and administrative projects implemented by general Joaquín Amaro during the post-revolution. It is registered that Amaro, who was Secretary of War and Navy, and subsequently, General Director of Military Education, had access to documents written by these two generals who modernized military education and the administration of the Porfirian army. When analyzing the contents of these Porfirian texts, the influence of Rocha and Reyes on the actions undertaken by the revolutionary general, as well as on the narratives and the rhetoric of their presentation and execution, can be appreciated.
