Resumen
The College of Sciences and Humanities was designed with the intention of having an educational model of active school, which was a novelty in Mexico in the 1970s, the project developed very quickly, the rector Pablo González Casanova took office in May 1970 and by June the Council of the New University was formed. Different curricula were made, these were apparently very utopian, so it was decided that they were not functional, in view of this situation they were reworked under the direction of Henrique González Ca[1]sanova and with ideas from the directors of the faculties of Philosophy and Letters, Sciences, Chemistry, Political and Social Sciences and the National Preparatory School. On January 26, 1971, the foundation of the institution was approved, and the first facilities were built in the first three campuses (Azcapotzalco, Naucalpan and Vallejo), classes began on April 12, 1971.
In 1974 the CCH Gazette began to be published, it became the official organ of our institution, in it we can trace our institutional history, since notes have been published that have to do with inaugurations, anniversaries, academic events, labor issues, book fairs, presentations of publications, manifestos against some directorates, etc., later magazines, bulletins, supplements, etc., were published. Faced with such a large amount of information, the anthology we are presenting aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the emergence of our news organ, with the understanding that it is impossible to make a story that encompasses all the elements to make a document that high lights daily life, only the news that are not those that are commonly published will be marked, in which it is not necessary to mention the names of the important characters of our institution, because they have always been worshiped, in this work we are only going to take some notes that help us understand the importance of the College for the life of our country and its development.
