520.3.#.a: The analysis of the Audam text (Southwestern Tepehuan) presented below is part of the recent documentation efforts being carried out in the community of San Francisco de Lajas (Aicham). Until 2016, there were no systematic records of the Audam variety. Thanks to funding provided by the Endangered Language Fund (2016) and the PAPIIT-UNAM Project (IA401417, 2017), a database of up to thirty hours of material has been collected, from which the history of the Tlacuache was selected. This story includes a transcription of the Audam oral narrative in the practical orthography, morphological segmentation, glossing and a Spanish translation. In addition, the narrative contains examples of the phenomenon of clause union: i) identifying the markers, ii) their meanings, as well as iii) some differences compared to O’dam (Southeastern Tepe- huan). El análisis del texto audam (tepehuano del suroeste) que se presenta a continuación forma parte de los recientes esfuerzos de documentación que se han llevado a cabo en la comunidad de ‘San Francisco de Lajas’ Aicham. Hasta el 2016, no se contaba con registros sistemáticos de la variante audam; por lo que gra- cias al financiamiento otorgado por Endangered Language Fund (2016) y el Proyecto UNAM-DGAPA-PAPIIT (IA401417, 2017), se ha logrado generar actualmente una base de datos que asciende a 30 horas de material, del cual se seleccionó la historia del tlacuache. Esta historia incluye la narración oral en lengua audam, transcripción en el alfabeto práctico, la segmentación morfológica, el glosado y la traducción al español. Además, expone una aproximación del fenómeno de unión de cláusula: i) identificando los marcadores, ii) sus sentidos, y iii) algunas diferencias que destacan en comparación con la gramática del o’dam (tepehuano del sureste).
