520.3.#.a: The Eastern Pacific green turtle (Chelonia mydas) locally known as black turtle, is a species listed as endangered. Through the monitoring and research of sea turtles in the Revillagigedo Archipelago for the development of the baseline information about nesting and health assessment of black turtles in the region, the first photographic records of mating behavior were obtained in Sulfur Bay on Clarion Island and in Vargas Lozano Bay on Socorro Island during the peak nesting season, indicating an extended reproductive season.
