Resumen
This article explores the relationships between indigenous cosmovisions over water and its impact on the social and territorial organization in Colombia, highlighting the importance of an intercultural dialogue for the sustainability of water. It is revealed as water, moreover, it is a natural resource, it is considered a sagrado and central entity in cultural and spiritual practices. We understand the deep interconnection between water concepts and the social and territorial structure, demonstrating that water management practices are sustainable and intrinsically linked to the material and spiritual world of the indigenous knowledge system. The study concludes that it meets the need to integrate these perspectives into water management policies to promote more sustainable and fair practices, infusing the value of indigenous knowledge into water conservation.
