Resumen
Introduction: The experience a person lives, form part of his/her character; it involves the possibility of acquiring knowledge and skills that will enrich him/her, because after an experience, it will always be recorded some information, which if it is repeated, it will allow not only to learn how to act in this living situation, but it will also leave a revealing learning to avoid repeating the negative. The same experience can be interpreted as positive or negative, when students attend their clinical practices, they have the opportunity to acquire various experiences that are not always positive but still strengthen them and prepare them for their professional work. Objective: To interpret the experiences of university students in clinical practice. Methodology: Qualitative research, the phenomenological method was used for data collection technique in-depth interviews. Field notes and participant observation were used. Six students participated in the Bachelor of Nursing, three women and three men. Findings: There were emerged two categories: The first category: Spiritual experiences with two subcategories 1.1The importance of faith and 1.2 Respect for beliefs. The second category: Lack of confidence and security with two subcategories 2.1 Impact to death and 2.2 Lack of practice and knowledge. Conclusion: Clinical practice was experienced as a complex process in which positive or negative feelings, learning and experiences have motivated the participants to improve and grow professionally.
